Sometimes pain is necessary so that there can be happy moments in the future, because difficult times make people stronger and drive them to find solutions

But...sometimes there is so much pain that it simply doesn't seem like there's a bright future ahead, and we just drown in our pain. Because we know that the pain that haunts us will never go away—some of it is even impossible to change

Somehow people in far worse circumstances than I am manage to keep on fighting and I don't understand how. They might be psychologically reduced to functioning purely as machines of survival, which sounds pretty bleak to me.

Probably not. My bpd naturally makes me dependant on pain and instability to some degree. Even though it makes me want to die, without it I would feel empty and meaningless and also want to die. Maybe I am just a masochist kek.

Yes, to me existence will always be the most torturous, dreadful abomination that just causes all this cruelty, harm and suffering with no limit as to how much one can be tortured and no matter what I'll always prefer the peace of non-existence over the torture of existing.

For me it'll always be so painful to exist and I find it painful to simply be conscious trapped in this terrible, cruel existence that just causes all this harm and suffering all for the sake of it, I'll always see existence as a mistake and it's just so horrific to me how the torture of existing can continue for decades longer just for one to face the terrible extreme agony of old age. To me existence really is the problem and I find it so dreadful how this existence was even imposed at all, all that imposing this existence ever does is just cause all this pain, suffering and torture, for me non-existence is just all that's positive.
