It's not pathetic, I'm glad you have a way to destress. I am leaving a note as I have friends I care deeply about, and that's it. If you have friends, it might be best to let them know it's not their fault. I carry the burden that I could have done something for another friend of mine who CTB a little too soon in life. Not leaving a note it would feel fake just feel guilty about it.

If you do choose to leave a note, I would advise writing as much as possible. I was left with a short note which essentially pinned the blame on me. Maybe he didn't mean this, but that's all I will ever understand from it.

It is simply a fact that we will be hurting people, so our final note is our only chance to alleviate the guilt and regret they experience after our passing.

Objectively this is pathetic but in my defence loneliness hits like a brick wall. Only so much alcohol and cutting can do. I like how honest it is.
