I think this depends so much on where you live and how you've been brought up. Culture is what I focus on. I have worked with people who look very different than me but we share similar backgrounds. So we may look and sound different, but we're a good match based on experiences, likes, dislikes, and all the rest.

And I don't think you should choose or not choose a relationship based on what response society might have toward it. Follow your heart.

You hit the nail on the head Jews and Arabs are suffering a gentical crisis with loads of diseases because they marry only within certain types like their cousins. This leads to kids being born unhealthy or suffer from ailments because of DNA clashes.

They should try marrying someone from another family...

I think it depends on the locality. Many people who were interracial couples held off on children or made sure they carefully located into a community where they thought their biracial child would be tolerated. There are some places where it is obviously foolish - imagine a arab muslim guy marring a ashkenazi jewish wife in israel. I am told this has happened before but I think this can only be bad for the child on average. Scientific institutions are probably reluctant to study this as society becomes more PC

All marriage is BS.

No opinion on the human version but I've been thinking about Ligers and Tigons lately. Which is better?
Oh my god, I love both so much! But I'd go with Ligers, probably, they are huge, and friendly, and they can swim.

This is an open-discussion on inter-racial dating/marriage.

I personally am against inter-racial dating and marriage for reasons listed below
but I would like to explore how other people feel about this:

People can say love have no boundaries however I question whether they are putting themselves in a favourable position.
-children get bullied more for being inter-racial, for this reason it might have been easier for the parents to date within their race.
-another hypothesis is that inter-racial couples both prefer the opposite race therefore they both suffer from low-esteem and is a toxic situation no one actually talks about.
-another area of concern would be racial fetishism and how it affects a relationship/marriage, assuming they do not have a good understanding of their partner's culture.

Can someone please offer your opinion regarding this,
feel free to vote,
if you have any thoughts about this topic whether it is good or bad,
please comment below and explain why you think that is.
You've given three half-baked and nonsensical opinions as reasons for racism. NICE.

Out of interest – when you say "I personally am against inter-racial dating and marriage" do you simply mean you would never do it or do you mean that you are against it altogether and think nobody should do it?

A lot of people have opinions. I think if you find real love go for it.

No one will tell me who I can date or marry.

The actions and intentions of the participants will make the relationship good/bad. Being a mixed kid opens your eyes to some things others may not see. I've never been bullied or ostracized for being mixed but I look pretty white, but my sister was told she was passing and we all got a good laugh. As an interesting point: In the US I see a lot, and I mean easily the majority, of commercials with mixed-race couples. So many in fact that I've seen more on commercials then ever in my life. Just interesting.

I don't think that this is something good or bad, it's just the way us humans have evolved. Let's remember that humanity was once divided between many species and all of us are the result of them interbreeding.

There's no denying that there are differences between human groups, it would be stupid to claim otherwise. But the fact that we can not only interbreed, but also communicate and cooperate shows that we are far more alike than we are different.

Saying you're "colorblind" is obviously well-intentioned and I commend you for that, but it's a cop out.

Race is a social construct, but its effects are material. Being "blind" to race almost always means also being blind to racism (because how can you see racism if you can't see race).

I don't. In the sense that's it's not a conceivable thing to me. I'm always often surprised by racist comments or actions. Everytime it's like experiencing such things for the first time.

I don't like how you kinda tried to put me in that, 'doing nothing is tolerating' group. And that's the problem. Racism is a two sided coin. I come from a kinda conservative black family. And all you here is white people this and white people that. And I'll tell them all the time that's racist. To which they'll reply so what, them m-effers are racist too.

I'm even often hit with the,'you weren't born in my time'. And I agree because most of the people in my generation are more socially tolerant of most things to do with race, religion, gender, orientation, and etc.

But I do know this for a fact. There's something called the rhetoric of hate. As in if someone punches you, and you go to punch them back you create a train reaction that supersedes not only your life time but generations as well. Maybe racism and racist should be ignored by the majority of us who aren't. Effectively avoiding the risk of turning ourselves into the very thing we want to end.

If we stop acknowledging race, the situation will improve drastically. That's why I try to snap back on myself whenever I point out someone specific based on their race or nationality, or skin color.
Like so, "hey look at that black kid."
I hate being specific because it can come off as racist, but by not acknowledging an outwardly appearance we will unconsciously feel even closer not setting another layer between us and other people.
Skin color can determine genetics, what it cannot determine is who you are, this is labeling and that is a social construct, meant to demonize, uphold, or deny specific types of people certain privelages, rights, or equality.
For example sickle cell is obviously apparent in people with a darker tone, and this can be a very deadly thing for people who are more African than any other mix or non-purity.
I've had arguments with white supremacists, nazis, confederate supporters and other loser underdog supporters, they are a conglomerate glob of pseudo intellectualism and echo chamber mentalities, do what's right, stop being prejudiced, grow some fucking brains and maybe this world will be a better place. This is not directed just a general statement, thanks.
