Is IC legit? I am a wee bit nervous about it since it says they require ID. I have ID, but I feel nervous sending a pic of it to them. has anyone on here sent them ID and it turned out ok? I keep fearing that if I send my ID that the crisis team will show up at my door step lol. I also fear it being a scam and having my identity stolen, or having my bank account get hacked into. I also fear that the SN will not be legit, and I also fear it catching on fire. but I assume that is only possible if its opened and close to sparks or flames? plus the last couple summers it has gotten crazy hot and my AC is not always the greatest. plus even when I do have good AC, my room mate likes to turn all the fans off or only leave one on when we are both away from our apartment. so, could it catch on fire? I mean, I assume the chances of that happening are slim since I have never seen any reports of it catching on fire but, I would like some reassurance lol

Yes, IC is legit even though overpriced. The ID is a just CYA thing that I have heard isn't always enforced. There's no danger of SN igniting.
I ordered 2 x 50g bags from IC in November, it took them nearly two months to show up but they're legit
I hope this isn't a common issue, I'm debating ordering soon but may end up unexpectedly moving again in the near future so that makes me worry since I'm low on money at most times.

I ordered mine in December and it came in 5 days. I live in the UK.
My theory is it was because of Christmas and all of the couriers being backed up. Best of luck with yours, hopefully it gets to you quickly
This is my biggest worry because my shipping and billing address are different. Do you think they would see the address on my license and be suspicious if it doesn't match the shipping destination? I'm over 21 and the name on the license will match the name of the who is receiving it (me) but I worry the difference in addresses will tip them off.

IC doesn't give a crap whether your ID address matches the shipping, they're not trying to catch you out. They only care that the order name and ID matches, otherwise there wouldn't be much point in an ID check.

So, some are asked for ID, and others aren't? Their asking for ID Is random?

Up to a couple weeks from dispatch probably. Mine was about that to an island that's a bit slower than UK mainland. Wouldn't be surprised if it can get to some countries in 7-10 days.

Seriously I assumed it got intercepted mid route or something and figured it was never coming. But it showed up on my doorstep this week and I was shocked. I live in the US

i know it may be too much to ask, but is it possible to request the SN be delivered on the weekend? i'm out of the house most of the time on weekdays and live with family that receive mail frequently and would question the parcel. i doubt i'd be able to make sure i catch the parcel at a time where i'm home those days and, with the family, it's almost necessary that i get the parcel right when it arrives and quietly (no doorbell). i live in the U.S..
I did send my ID but i am a member of equifax, i blocked my account. That way nobody can open an account in my name until i unblocked it. I hope its enough.
