Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

So there are cases in which people just hang themselves with their scarves, sometimes not even on purpose
And here I am just confused which rope to buy and what anchor to use..
do you know any other websites or books or just anything else with reliable information about this topic?

I genuinely don't know how people in videos do it so calmly and seemingly first try. I've tried several times and can't get it done.

It often depends bc people can have very different neck anatomy. You just need something long and thin, but strong enough to support your weight. If you're going to use a rope, use one that can slip against itself easily so that the noose can tighten properly. Same thing with the anchor, it just has to hold you. I'm planning on using the rod in my closet. You should try to get a good idea of where your carotids are, and it's a good idea to add extra padding to those parts. It'll probably take a few tries; don't get discouraged by this. If you have problems with SI, benzos or alcohol can help, but you should get everything set up beforehand so you don't need to tie knots while high.

If you're struggling to find the right ligature and anchor, you can try ligature strangulation instead. Here's instructions for partial hanging; there aren't any pinned threads on FSH, but there should be. You could probably search around and find something.
