Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Is death peace because it ends the restless willing and suffering of conscious existence by eliminating the subject who can experience them, rather than because anyone experiences nothingness as a peaceful sensation?

Beautiful question, and beautifully put.

If you want, you can experience that using meditation too. You don't need to die to experience that . Plus there are certain brainwaves that can help you go into deeper states of consciousness.

We don't actually know for sure what death is. Although- if it is the cessation of all experience and awareness then- it isn't even a feeling/ experience of relief/ peace, it's simply nothing.

I think we use the word 'peaceful' because it best describes the hope that our life struggles will be over. So- like you say- the body and mind that were capable of feeling so much pain and discomfort are now dead.

I think it's almost similar to a funeral in a way- more for the people left behind. More for the living. It's nice to believe that the people we love(d) are now at peace. And also that some day, our struggles will be over too. It's a nice word/ sentiment, even if it isn't accurate.

I imagine it will be similar to going under anaesthetic. When you awake, there is this very bizare feeling that you had no awareness at all. No sense of time passing. But- that only registers/ makes sense because you are awake again. While being anaesthtised, there wasn't the sense of being at peace. It was more like an off switch. I imagine death will be the same.

Just wanting some peace

Yes, it truly is the only peace for me and I'll just only be at peace once I'm finally free from this existence so terrible, futile and torturous that I just always saw as a mistake that only ever causes all this cruelty and suffering with no limit as to how much one can be tortured.

I'll just always see it as an abomination to suffer in this existence, this existence is the problem and as long as I exist I'll only hope for the true peace of non-existence where all is gone and forgotten, all I hope is to be permanently unconscious free from all pain and suffering, to me existing will just always be so dreadful and torturous, I'd just never wish to be conscious of anything at all, I'll always find it so deeply undesirable to exist.

Yes, it's peaceful. Death is returning to the state we were in before birth.

Extreme Pain is much worse than people know

Death gets some humans out of a trap which is hell a trillion times worse than one can imagine.

And then it keeps you safe for all time from ever suffering pain so bad it is that billion times worse than imaginable.

because Death is Non-Existence forever Death is peace because you cannot suffer extremely nor at all, no problems, no pain , no suffering, no bad memories.

if you are certain that 1 micro second after your brain dies you will never exist again then you know once you die you will never suffer pain again, never any problems , never having to do anything , no bad memories all this hell forgotten forever . it will be as if you and the universe never existed. i am certain there is nothing after Death. to me this is a great comfort knowing that one day soon i'll be free of all these burdens and the threat of extreme torture forever . the problem is i'm still alive and how to get to the safety of Eternal Non-Existence without suffering long lasting unbearable pain.

you can't experience anything becauase you won't exist for all time right after you die. it will to you as if you and the universe never existed in the first place. but the universe is going to end anyway also. but of course they have people doubting Death is the end and that a small animal like a human will somehow outlive the stars and the universe even though there is no evidence.

to me it seems they have most humans wanting to live to be in a state where one can be tortured extremely over not existing where you can never suffer at all.

i guess one reason is most humans have never felt constant excruciating pain or never realized how bad and unwanted this nightmare is , how nothing is worth it , and that it could happen to them at any second.

so yes Death is peace. Death is Non-Existence forever. to me eternal Non-Existence is the best thing by orders of maginutude . for one thing Permanent Non-Existence is the only guarantee of never suffering long lasting every second unbearable pain and agony

an analogy could be is someone is walking with no real pain. then a gang kidnaps the person and inprisons , abuses , tortures the human every day making them a slave and prisoner. this could happen to anyone anyday in this "beautiful" life. so this person escaping the kidnapping to freedom would be a good thing . who wouldn't want to escape. this is an analogy about life vs Death to me. i consider living to be as in that kidnapping prison. i was not existing then brought to this hell. but then they tell me i can't leave and have to stay here . and i ask why do i have to live even another minute? they have no answer but say i have to stay prisoner.
