Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Is cutting of the wrists a reliable method? I have read a lot about it not being reliable at all but it doesn't seem too hard to achieve? I would prefer this method if it had somewhat of a success rate as if failed, the long term damage is no where near as bad as other methods like hanging, overdose etc. I would rather a scar over brain damage/being a vegetable.

i think it is a very bad idea because you could panic and survival instinct is very very strong. if you fail, you'll taken to the hospital in a psych unit. what's important with CTB is to succeed. failed attempts could worse your situation

Depends how much you know about anatomy and don't care about pain. Media portrays this easier it actually is. Death by blood loss is very rare and has low success rate if you don't know what you're doing.

It's not like you see in the movies. You have to cut pretty deep, and the pain is excruciating.

I once asked about something similar and the gist I got was: Your body will likely stop you from cutting as deep as you need to go, so it will be more likely to just end up very painful and potentially cause motor function damage if you do it wrong. Not recommended.

It's not reliable and has a very low success rate. For it to work, you would need a high pain tolerance, a good understanding of anatomy, and you would need to be able to push through the psychological toll that cutting deep can cause (the arteries are located deep within and underneath the muscle layer). Even then, I feel like the odds wouldn't be in your favour, but I'm not a medical professional so idk for sure.

In a word, NO!
Its a terrible idea with many unforseen consequences.
Its not going to succeed & will cause lots of pain & a stay in your local psych ward.🤗🌹💔

I know someone who ctb this way but it took 2 attempts to succeed. It has a low success rate and could damage tendons etc.

Wrist cutting seems fun but I wouldn't do it to kill myself, y'know?

A scar isn't the worst thing that can happen if this goes wrong. Disabling nerve and tendon damage is.
