  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I think it would only be painful for a short while but I'm scared that the amount of time it takes me to hit the ground will be agonizing. I know there isn't many people on here who would know what it feels like but what do you think it would feel like?

I imagine that if the injuries are fatal you will lose consciousness very fast.

I've jumped from a tree before, and in the few short seconds it took to fall, it was terrifying

If you don't die instantly, it must be very painful.

Yes, if it doesn't work, the rest of your life is much worse.

The panic must be awful, even if it takes you like 2 seconds to hit the ground. Your survival instinct WILL be triggered and you will panic, no matter how much you want to die. It'll be gut wrenching panic. Then again, it only lasts like 2 seconds to hit the ground and it'll be over. But that is one of the reasons why I wouldn't go for jumping. My last moments would be the worst panic one could experience.
I imagine if you're hella intoxicated, it might be better tho.

Hi there. I can report that I don't remember jack shit after making my way out the window. Memories of the fall and impact are just erased by the mind.

If I were ever gonna do this i'd have to be high or drunk off my ass.

For some reason jumping seems more inviting than shooting myself. I don't know. I just don't like guns.

Also the golden gate bridge was one of my dream ctb methods when I was in highschool after I saw that bridge documentary.

I agree with this, you will need to understand the moment your in the air, you will experience SI, it will be very fearful so please understand this, terminal volicity of a average person is 70mph, if you choose this way the CTB, just make sure the height is 100 meters or above, this is the recommended height, maybe taking xanax before you jump light help lesson the SI response, but like this guy said, there will be some fear, if I chose this way, I would jump with my back facing the ground looking up, or I'd jump and close my eyes

It's over 225m/750ft apparently, I highly doubt I'd survive. I just don't want to be in much pain, even for a short while.

I think my spot would take over 5 seconds to hit the ground. Sounds like a horrible time falling.
