Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Is anyone here interested in witchcraft?

I've been developing an interest in contemporary witchcraft as a way of feeling empowered and expressing my intentions in the world. Has anyone else found refuge in these practices?

I gather that these are all book recommendations, and I appreciate them. My to-read list is very long, but I'll take a look at these titles when I can.

Yeah, it seems to be. I mean, you might have a different idea than I do about what it means for magic to 'work'. I'm verrry agnostic, so I'm not really sure whether the practices I'm engaging in are 'just' rituals that help my psyche, or whether they actually move spiritual forces to create an outcome, but even if they're 'just' rituals for my psyche, I think that can help a lot. For example I have done rituals for physical and emotional strength that seem to increase those things for me. Whether it's psychodrama or 'actual magic', I kind of don't care. It creates a result for me anyway.
I want to say as an example that I've been learning about mirror boxes. A mirror box is a box with mirrors on the inside, which is used to reflect energy back at a target. It can be used to reflect someone's harm back to them, make them see themself more clearly, or make others see them more clearly. Again, even as an agnostic, I really appreciate the physical symbolism. I think this can be an interesting tool for those experiencing harm from others.
Can you define real magic? I honestly don't practice any of this but do have a lot of information regarding magic/demons. I have gone through very little of it (not interested). Also, you're cool, I was getting bored on this site and was just memeing everyone...

I'm unsure of the race of the person under the hood. I think it could still be a KKK hood even if it is a black man. My understanding is also that fascist organizations often use people of color to try and paint their organizations as non racist, even when that is the case. Can you tell me what your profile pic represents?
I'm not sure I can define real magic. In responding to your statement I was kind of broadening the term for myself: as My Little Pony said, friendship is magic! But that's not really what I consider magic in the sense that I originally posted about. For me, what I was originally describing is will made manifest. The expression of intention and will through symbolic and often spiritual means, in order to achieve an objective. That's how I would currently define contemporary witchcraft.
If you don't practice, then what do you know about magic and demons?
A mirror box? Me too! currently looking into how to make my first one. There's a great reddit post on the subject. You can buy adhesive mirror tiles at a lot of dollar stores which makes the whole process a lot easier.

My profile picture doesn't really represent anything, it's not that deep... IT IS NOT KANYE WEST WEARING AN "IMPERIAL WIZARD" OUTFIT. I can tell you that much...
Okay, that definition matches the little that I have read about the subject. I know that magic is real and it is very interesting seeing it play out in real life. For example, in accordance to the definition of will made manifest, I can clearly see an example of applied magic in some music. A beat is used to lower your conscious defences to lyrics which are carrying a message into your subconscious. That is, making you a vehicle to carry out the will of the artists to some extent. Rap,rock, pop heads all acting a similar way is no coincidence. I also see imitation of artists (words, gestures, dancing) as magical in the sense that you are inviting the "spirit" that is in that person. I have also noticed that the messaging is sometimes very self-destructive. I also believe that this is no coincidence.... My interest/knowledge of magic ends after a very loose working definition, but I can see that once you know how it works it does not affect you, you see through it. So... your will needs to be manifested without the target knowing...
As far as demons... I know they are real and that certain combinations of sigils/rituals/ items/ chants can be used to summon them. They have rankings and different types of knowledge/characteristics that can be useful to someone if they know what they are doing. I don't believe they can harm me because I am protected by GOD himself... Demons can come get some...
I do admit that there is a natural attraction to these things, that's probably the reason why I have collected so many resources that I have found online. I have A FUCK TON of files of what seem to be genuine and rare finds, but they're just there... I am not afraid, it's just that I believe in God more and I have chosen to explore my Catholicism instead...
How long have you been practicing? What do you know about demons? I'm genuinely interested, no shade <3
I'm starting to get more into the craft. I had some people in town who were meeting, but they're all younger and I feel really alienated by them, so sticking by myself and focus on my goals.
I like tarots because I'm mostly interested in the psychological side of tarots, that is, in making you reflect more deeply on certain things that are already inside you.
I was starting to get interested in witchcraft too last year....it seems to be trendy lately.
Personally I think there could be risks in approaching the occult, because even if many don't believe in it, evil spirits, demons etc....exist, so be careful please with these type of stuff.
I am very much connected to the earth and I relate a lot to this aspect of witchcraft. I also believe in the magic of healing crystals and spiritual intent. I relate much more to paganism than any other religion and am fascinated by what I've studied thus far. I don't want to belong to any type of organized religion so I more less follow practices that speak to me, and giving back and respecting the earth as a being is high on my priority list.
I've taken up demonology thanks to my spiritual sister. She's very much inducted me into becoming a lilin (follower of Lilith), and there is for sure a comfort in the symbolism and subtext of such concepts. Witchcraft as a whole is a very diverse practice, so usually it takes some studying to figure out which specific teachings/paths you wish to follow and learn from. It's also really open in terms of what you can choose to give to and take from, so honestly it's a brave new world of finding out what clicks with you and makes you feel better about yourself.
