Discussion Is anyone else especially hurt today, more then other days?

Is anyone especially sensitive and suffering more because it's mother's day
and you thinking about your loved ones and the pain and suffering ctbing will cause them? My heart is in a million pieces and I can't stop crying.
For those of you who are mothers I wish you a happy Mother's Day, I don't really know if I should wish that because it might bring about emotions you don't want to feel and I'm sorry if that's the case. I don't want to hurt anyone

I think you're right to think so. For myself it feels like a let down; more than likely I'm not going to make an appearance when the family gets together to celebrate, so it makes me feel flakey and inconsiderate. But at the same time I'm not in the right frame of mind to participate

I completely get you, aside from my mom and siblings I can't be around anyone, I literally hide from people. I'm sorry I know it's really hard

Opposite, I hate my effing mother and the pain and she caused me. Hell, even my mental illness and autism can be traced so while it may not be entirely fair to blame her for that (as opposed to her actions) it's still irksome.

It's okay, not everything is going to be applicable to everyone. I'm not a mother but I'm sure people like @Tesha and @Myforevercharlie appreciate it especially considering how parents are usually talked about here.
