Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Is an Ethernet cable cord good enough for hanging?

I unfortunately do not have any access to a rope, leather belt or SN… but I DO have cable cords. LOTS of them. Especially an Ethernet cable cord that is pretty long. I was wondering, would that be sufficient enough to end my life? I'm doing a partial hanging in my closet as I can't get SN or even afford it if I could…

Nope… I'm unemployed and broke… my life's a fucking joke and I haven't gotten a fucking break since 2023… though atleast during that year I wasn't suffering physically just mentally but even then it wasn't that bad… now it's physical suffering and I don't want to see my life get any worse… ending my life right now although would be unfortunate is way better than living the rest of my life unable to do the things I loved doing…

I say find a way to save money. Beg if you have to. Ropes are cheap. And I think an ethernet cable is too thin (painful) and just not designed to hold that much weight.

I don't have a job and I'm too mentally unstable to do anything. And I don't want to live. I wish cutting myself would kill me but unfortunately cutting yourself will result in damage, OD on drugs? Impossible!!!
I doubt it would work - they use pretty cheap aluminum wires and plastic in those things. Unless you weigh like 80 lbs or something, I would probably stretch out and snap
An Ethernet cable seemed to hold my weight, I tied it to a thick cupboard post, "abseiled" a bit with it, and even pulled myself up (I'm maybe 52kg, the pulling should simulate all my weight on it... since my feet were on the floor, and I was diagonal... tested when CTB wishes were quite low, they are moderate now).
If night night (with light long trouser/long t shirt.. and rolled socks) takes too long to perfect (should do some practice maybe?), I'm considering a more.... networked backup.
(CTB wishes seem to tie to coursework and similar, and as a precaution against potential worsening of life conditions... This post also signifies consideration, and not just theoretical talk)

I feel this OP. I'm also on this site due to physical suffering via chronic pain 24/7 and chronic illnesses. It sucks when your body just fails you and you can no longer do the things you love doing. I'm sorry you're in the same boat :(
