I had severe chest pain for several hours a long time ago. I felt helpless just waiting for whatever was going to happen to happen. Kidney failure, cancer, sepsis, etc seem like terrible ways to go.

It sounds horrible dying from an illness, and I would personally prefer to die at a time of my own choosing. I want to escape old age and decades of meaningless suffering. The main thing that is holding me back from ctb is the fear of failure, if it was easier to leave, I would already be gone.

There is no doubt that suicide is entirely sensible in the event of terminal illness or extreme chronic physical pain with no end. Even the mainstream has come to accept this.

The end result is the same every human will die no matter what happens . The difference is how much suffering and torture is one of us willing to accept and for what reason until a certain Death?

imo most natural deaths are torturous, cancer, stroke, alsheimers , dementia, etc.

So of course ctb is better than a natural Death.

i'm not willing to accept any more suffering for any reason. i don't have any real reason to live anyway .

i've heard of people suffering 5 years or more with alsheimers, 1 year with extremely painful cancer, 10 years or more dementia etc. imo why should i wait for torture like that for years which is certain for me when i can do a painless quick ctb with SN, Co, N and other methods?

i can't stand pain and fear really extreme, unbearable, intolerable pain, stroke, dementia , old age.

A good ctb method beats years of suffering and being tortured to death by alshiemers for years. If executed correctly shotgun instant no pain instant Death, co a few seconds of consciousness with high concentration and death in 3 minutes, N a few minutes then sleep forever, SN 10-20 minutes of consciousness and then sleep forever and all imo could be relatively painless.

Time flys by fast too. this is more apparent to older people but even younger ones can see how fast a year or the last 5 years flew by.the decades seem like a blink of an eye to me

life has tortured most animals including humans for the last 400 milion years and then tortured them to Death.

Who knows? Everyone is different and die for countless different reasons ( some painful and some not ). I'd rather live and die a natural death....... But,. I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired. Dealing with life on life's terms,. So I have numerous guns all very capable to take me Out if and when I see that situation warranted. Gives me some peace of mind but the whole ordeal still makes me very anxious/ sad to be honest.

Not for me it aint. I've watched several people die "natural" deaths through stroke and cancer. I may or may not do it this year, but I absolutely will before I end up like that.

Depends on exactly which type of natural death--there's thousands, if not more, ways to die a natural death and some will suck a whole lot more than others.

My best friend died in his sleep of a brain aneurysm--no awareness, no pain, he just never woke up after going to sleep one night. The absolutely ideal death, TBH.

what is a natural death, people saying dying by illnesess to me isn't natural, its not natural for our bodies to be riddled with disease,
To me a natural death is one where you have grown old and your body decides its time to stop, and off you pop to the next stage your journey. Dying of illness is not natural, but to be terminally ill, and knowing you are going to die would suck, as most of the population doesn't want to die, they live in vain hope of a better tomorrow.
In flat answer to your question, CTB is the better option, but it takes the right mind to take that option

Dying peacefully in your sleep is reserved for the select few who actually have the willpower to live long enough via exercising, sleeping perfectly, eating healthy, not doing drugs, and not having too much stress. Maintaining all of those things is so painful though for people like me with no willpower or interest in self preservation whatsoever. What's even the point of living longer if the only ways to do so are so exhausting and cause even more pain for people who don't want to stick to the regimen?

Even when you do subscribe to this cultish mindset of perfect health, genetics or random events can still do a lot to ensure an early death anyway. You could be the perfect paragon of health poised to die peacefully and happily at a ripe old age over 95 or you could live like that and still die to a car veering off the road, crashing into you and crushing your perfectly maintained bones and organs into dust.

Absolutely not, it makes me laugh when anti-choice people kid themselves being so sure it won't be all that bad. When in reality, many natural deaths are drawn-out, agonising, and miserable.
