basically the title. asking because this option is available to me via knowing the whereabouts of said .357 magnum and bullets. if i aim correctly at my brain stem, is it an overwhelmingly high chance i'll die?

this isn't my preferred method as i'd rather use a shotgun but if need be, i'm okay with the former if it's viable because my depression is worsening and i'm starting to lose more hope everyday.
