Help Is 3 Story's enough to Die from Jumping off a Ledge or Stair well

I have been thinking about CTB by jumping of a Ledge or stair-well for Months if i were to jump Head first will it be Instant or will i just be serious Injured and "Saved" and Forced into a Hospital and then a Mental Ward.

is Jumping even a Good option?, i am too afraid of Sharp Objects to slit my throat or stab myself in order to CTB
