Is it that difficult to ingest 200ml of N from D?
This might be an unpopular opinion, but 200ml seems like a cakewalk... I understand it tastes awful and all... but still

Yes. Feedback on the taste ranges from really bad to almost unbearable. Each to their own.

Honestly the initial taste isn't awful (not great but tolerable) but the aftertaste that kicks in after maybe ten seconds or so is truly something else. Orthodontist glue but even worse is the closest thing I've been able to compare it to. Industrial.

Taste aside, it's still the best "mainstream method" on this site. The aftertaste is hard to get rid of so you're definitely going to die with that taste in your mouth.

Compared to all the other methods, I'll take my chances with a bitter taste.

I once had to drink a barium shake for a gastro study to find out what's wrong with my bowels. That was a Big-Gulp sized cup of thick, chalky paste. And I had to chug it non-stop until it was empty. It was nasty, vile, and difficult, and I wanted to vomit, and to stop, but I had to keep going. And I didn't have the benefit of being unconscious a few minutes afterward. (And since I had slow digestion already, it stayed in my system for a week.) It didn't kill me, unpleasant as it was.

So, then, I'll take my chances with the bitter taste. Maybe a piece of chocolate with a shot of Jager.

I've been told that the taste of N is also corrosive.

"Relax-this won't hurt." -Hunter S. Thompson's last words before shooting himself

My father shot himself in the mouth when I was four. I obtained the police report a few years ago. They found bone and teeth fragments on the blanket he was lying on, and it was a bloody mess.

SN tastes like salty hell, makes you vomit, gives you tachychardia, turns your blood to goop, and your skin blue.

I've endured 6 months of kidney stones, going to bed in painful hell, literally praying for death, not caring if I woke up. Feeling like something was trying to explode from my kidney tube. Doubled over on the floor at times, pounding my fists in pain. Painkillers didn't help. I was even driving one night to get a heating pad when a wave of pain hit, and I slowed to a crawl so as not to kill others on the road.

I've seen the videos of people drinking N, complain about the taste for a minute, and then, lights out.

Nothing is 100%, but in comparison, this is the most peaceful and painless one can get.
If that's the bargain, so be it.
I'll take my chances with the corrosive bitter taste.

You are right. You will only be in minor discomfort compared to what you are describing. I am personally going with SN because it is accessible for me.

The taste is horrendous, and for me after pouring the 200ml into a glass it was very overwhelming
I think I might just drink 100-150ml instead, I hope that being underweight will reduce the risk of the 'prolonged comatose state' that apparently occurs in 1% of people after drinking 100ml

Maybe I'm just overly sensitive and a coward but that was just my experience with my first N attempt that I was unable to carry through, SI had a big part to play also though so maybe if I had been better able to overcome that at the time the 200ml wouldn't have seemed so daunting

Barium is a piece of cake compared to N. Makes barium taste like the best milkshake you have ever had lol

That may be, but there's the thickness and texture (and volume) of barium to contend with, as well. The PPH advises that N be downed in a few gulps. Can't do that with Barium.

I'm gonna assume holding your breath doesn't work so well eh. Seems like the taste is a small price to pay for being the gold standard.
