@StrugglingSienna was my best friend who I met on here. She was brilliant, caring, funny, and a general joy to be around. I'm glad we met when we did, and had the chance to do so in person before she passed.

It is often a person's abundance of empathy, thoughtfulness and caring which can make life so fucking painful and unbearable. All the second hand, vicarious trauma, all the horrifying knowledge of the depths of suffering, which is often suffering inflicted by evil and stupidity... all the powerlessness and futility.
@HeyBoogahJr, I didn't know you well, but I so much wanted you to live. You were a caring, sweet, and calming presence, and it was an honor and a privilege to hear your heart out. I wanted you to stay so badly. You seemed so young and full of life and hope. Thank you for letting me into your life for a time and trusting me with the feeling of not thriving. I think, if you'll live, a friendship can thrive between us. But almost a month now, and nothing. I think of you. Love, your older sister on the cyberspace

I miss you and think of you often. I won't mention your online name here as I feel you would not like that. I want to tell you things. I'm sad that I did not get a goodbye from you but I do understand. Wishing you peace wherever you are my friend.

I've been talking to someone here and they plan to now die by suicide. I feel so sad. Hopefully my post wasn't too repetitive but I need help being heard about this sadness. I'm not dying by suicide like many here have and will. I don't blame them. I'm just sad right now.

My friend @Emerita passed away recently. We came to know each other quite well before she passed and we spent a lot of time talking. She had a very difficult life. She was a strong person and a good friend.
I enjoyed her company a lot. She was creative and kind. She loved flowers. The ghost pipe was her favorite. White orchids were her second. I got to growing orchids myself because of her. I've come to enjoy it as a hobby.
She was good at creative design and created many nice T-shirts and even a Sasu bus ticket,

I do hope my person im talking to her to post her goodbye post because I need to hear that she intends to die and if she dies by suicide after long period of not being online I will feel a sense of ease that she is at peace. Her son died by suicide and she will likely die by it too. I'm so sad about this all.

I would like to add @Kamaainakupua . Never got the chance to talk with her much before I was hospitalized and suddenly vanished. By the time I felt ok enough to come back, she was gone. Not sure if she CTB'd, but the message below her username suggests it. Wherever she is now, I hope it's a better place.
Two other recent users that I never interacted with but their stories meant something to me:
@fightclub17 - Surprised she hasn't been mentioned yet. I still see her name mentioned sometimes, her story left an impact on so many users on the forum.
@gardenoflonely - Posted a goodbye thread last week and hasn't logged on since. It was heartbreaking reading about what she went through.
Hopefully I'm next.

I was originally on here years ago, and we became best friends. We spoke on the phone almost every day. It was four years ago the other week. I miss him terribly.

Had no idea they passed. Damn, dude. I have screenshots of them using the "Interesting" reaction when people posted random-ass stuff. Always made me laugh. They were so nice. I hope they found peace.

So tell me every1. How do u feel when smone on here passes away? I feel this question might burn your eyes from the distance of a screen, yet i truly desire as many answers from u. I'll take a moment to think on it for myself. u'all are of great help
I think there are many components of my emotions which i'll try not to conceal. though some are too weak and subconscious to be identified accurately.
I would feel anxiety first of all, likely due to human instinct upon deaths of others. I understand how our body and mind were long ago programmed to behave like this -- how death of own kind are recognized as signs of danger and calamity, and how we had been hard-coded to survive since. I also would find myself desperately searching for reasons to detach from ppl. I'll sit in silence with social media and sasu offline for a few hours, revisiting the details, sometimes uncontrollably. This is the hardest part.
Love joins, and hate separates, I endure ceaseless pain and loneliness when I soak myself inside the bitter medium of this, "hate", which is neither solid nor fluid. I have no idea what I hate in particular. Only tiny buds of self-hatred, a subconscious and transient signal of "maybe I could have done sth. and stuff would have turned out different." But I lack the power in my body and mind to grab it. I fail to believe I have any agent to bring about any changes. And I would quickly realize there have been nothing I could have done. I feel no guilt that lingers after all, and no hatred upon others. Only saddened by the fact that another shade of unique hue has been irreversibly erased from this world for good. I wish i could burst into tears if that leviates anything from my chest.
Sorry if this deviates from the topic. I would keep searching for names and remember them. And i realize im bad at sth i started. but will keep doing.
I don't know many of the names on this thread, but just thinking about it saddens me. I'm truly happy they found their peace, but each suicide also symbolizes a life wasted. One the world threw away by not treating someone right. It's the final solution. It brings peace and an end to suffering. But remembering that person... I don't even know many of these names like I said but it still makes me sad. Love and peace
