• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

What are your thoughts on words. The options come directly from my own limited perceptions (just pick what makes sense you you, unless none of the options make sense, then ignore this post)

I picked 'associations'. We've been taught to associate words with meaning. It's annoying when you can't find quite the right words or, when the definitions don't quite fit what you mean but, I think they do an impressive job overall. We can communicate with one another and understand really complex ideas. Even fictional stories. That's pretty cool.

I find other languages fascinating. Not that I have any desire to learn them but that varying languages construct a sentence in vastly different ways.

Do you ever wonder about animals? How much they communicate with one another? What they say? How many 'words' they know?

True, thanks for your feedback :) Even the most rudimentary communication relies on associations. Difficult to fully comprehend it.
