Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

So my brother found my suicide notebook and shared it with my parents and they freaked the hell out. I'm getting forced to start therapy in a week and it doesn't change anything from my original thoughts to ctb. I've made recovery efforts in the past and I think it's ironic my family wants me to live when I've been ignored my whole life. How should I be in therapy? Obviously my therapist would know of me being suicidal, but I need to pretend to make an effort for maybe 2-3 months so I can least make my family "think" they tried.

Be honest in therapy. There is no point in hiding anything from the therapist if they already know you are suicidal. You never know, it may actually help.

It can't hurt to be honest and have an outlet. I'm someone who lies constantly in therapy because I either don't feel like explaining everything or I'm worried that I'll get sent to the hospital. I just tell her what she wants to hear most of the time. But I always regret it because I'm not doing any favors for myself, and it's at a point where my therapist thinks I'm getting better when I'm actually not. Even if you think it's pointless, take the opportunity to vent and talk things out. I'm honestly surprised at some of the things I've been able to tell my therapist that I thought for sure would get me hospitalized but didn't.
