job hunting and at least low level jobs. They give us little to nothing and expect us to be grateful. Just wanted to share what happened today

had an interview at a "Christian" hospital. I work at walmart and I honestly couldn't tell the difference. "No excuses for attendance, when you call in don't even give a reason we don't care" lol
"You're not gonna pay your bills working here" great opening
Want robots, show up and be happy every day to as little pay as possible.

I'm sure it won't do shit but I'm going to put in a complaint towards this guy because I would be embarrassed to have someone doing interviews like this for me. Whole time I'm thinking, yup this is why I see this job on indeed every two weeks

I'm only 22 and I just can't see myself tolerating this level of bullshit for very long. shitty jobs with shitty pay is all I have to look forward to?? No one told this to me! Then everyone wonders why the people on welfare systems refuse to get off, why would they? work sucks so much and makes me even more depressed.

Sorry you had to face that shit , it's almost the same for middle class everywhere .

Progressive , developing or third world country - doesn't matter .

But I think you have governments and politics to hate for that reason , not society .
You got many other personal reasons to hate society for .
hang in there .

Same here, and very soon after my position ends (it's a temporary position), I'll have to live on the savings that I have. I don't really like working and the grind, but I just do enough to get by and exist until I get sick of living or some extreme catalyst pushes me over the edge to ctb. Not currently actively wanting to ctb (just passively). Pretty much nowadays I just live on my terms and don't really care about what society says or expects (I just do enough to put food on the table, get shelter, and some spending money for entertainment).

i find the whole concept of working for a living demeaning and dehumanizing. as guy debord said: 'ne travaillez jamais' (never work). morrissey has an opinion on the subject as well. in a perfect world theres a basic income for everybody. think they did some experiments in scandinavia and canada, but on a small scale.

The rat race/paper chase/grind (whatever you want to call) is insanely depressing. At times I wish I were artistic but even then, it would seem depressing to turn a passion into work and correlated with the system. Idk, I'm no artist/ don't have any passions of value.
