I'm scared

I'm on the bucket, I've been standing here for an hour. I guess I'll just die when I pass out for standing for so long. But my parents may wake up. What if they go to the basement and I'm not dead? I need encouragement

If it is that hard for you, maybe it is not your time yet to go. It is never too late to reconsider

If you're interrupted while you're hanging, that's bad news. It doesn't sound like now is the right time so I suggest you step down and just practice some self-care. Or you could share a little more about how you're feeling if you'd like.

I did it... I don't know what happened. Just woke up on the floor. I think I shattered a tooth. I'm too weak to move, so my parents will find me. I don't know what to do...

If you are trying to attempt the hanging method, then it's not really recommended if other people are not too far away as they could interfere which would just lead to even more suffering.

It's so horrible to me how suicide is this difficult in this world, but sadly it's just the reality, I find it so cruel how we cannot just peacefully pass away without risks and complications, those who attempt the hanging method certainly are so courageous to me, as it just sounds so terrifying and risky to me, I think this method is especially difficult because of the survival instinct kicking in. But anyway I wish you the best, I hope that you don't suffer more by being locked inside the prison that is the psych ward.

My parents woke me up on the floor demanding answers. All is fine now though, they didn't take me to the hospital and we were planning to go camping, and we're still going to.
I don't know what happened. I used heavy leather belts. Maybe it broke where the belts were connecting? I got a nasty bruise on my neck too. Glad my semesters done, explaining it to professors would be a pain.

Yes, seems like the belts ripped :/ I am so sorry again but I am glad that you at least didn't get any brain damage or something similar from this

That's a really sad experience, it's a shame that hanging is so unreliable. We should be able to leave when we please, not forced to go through this horror. I hope your future isn't as full of suffering.
