I'm happy and okay with this now. At first I couldn't accept it because of the injustices I received here and I wanted another chance but I'm happy there is no other life EVER. I don't want reincarnation or another human existence or animal existence NO thanks

I look forward to non existence, it is all I want. Nothing can hurt me when I am dead and it is the end to all my suffering. I do not believe in any afterlife and I never have done. I think that when we lose consciousness that is it for us, we cease to exist.

It's actually not logical to think that nothingness exists. We have always existed in one way or another and we will never cease to. There is no nothingness.

Though without brain apparently there should be no consciousness, but the impulse behind life existed before brains existed, so that impulse certainly remains after death in some form.

You can think of yourself, your consciousness, as a sort of software that runs on hardware which is the brain. Without a brain to run the trillions of operations which make up your consciousness, there just isn't any way for "you" to exist after the brain dies.

WHatever brings you peace of mind is ok with me, that's up to you, but I have seen quite a few near death experience videos that seem pretty convincing that we have a much happoer life after this. I hope you can experience this, but I guess we'll see.

Sometimes it's better to face the reality than embrace the fantasy. Not always though. I have had dying (elderly) relatives who were convinced they were headed for a vacation in heaven and I didn't try to disabuse them of that notion. It gave them comfort in their last days.

i agree. i can't believe that people actually believe there is an afterlife or reincarnation. Even more unfathomable to me is that many wish for an afterlife or reincarnation. Just think for a minute how bored you'd get after the first 1000 years, 1 million years, 1 billion years , the tedium , the torture the pain, the suffering , the diseases, old age, the grief , depression, despair... . Non-existence is zero pain zero suffering forever that is what Death is and what i adore most of all no pain ever. I can't stand the thought of living another year. i want to rest. i guess most people that think this are not old yet? omg all i can say about old age is be afraid of old age it's the worst nightmare to me the worst hell. i hate this animal body i'm trapped in , this existence like nothing i've despised before . Non-existence is my only wish.

If you enjoyed the afterlife it wouldn't be tedium, boredom, etc. It remains to be seen, no one knows for sure, regardless of how convinced they are one way or another.

There has to be a God, how would consciousness arise and how did the universe begin without God. I do believe that there is an afterlife (heaven).

You are not even the same person you were when you were born as a crying infant, or 10 years ago or even 1 year ago, psychically or psycholgically, yet somehow people believe there is some eternal consciousness that persists beyond the body and the brain that is somehow a perfect version of you, when even the slightest damage to the brain can cause someone's personality to change irrevocably.
