I did some shadow work today (analyze a problematic behavior, understand what need I am trying to satisfy by doing it and then try to satisfy the need with a behavior that isn't problematic), and I am so glad I'm healing. I didn't realize that I'm a super strong perfectionist and hate every single mistake, so I'm now intentionally trying to make sure that I remind myself that it's okay to make mistakes, and I'm able to do my work for the first time without resistance. Search up shadow work online and how to do it. I guarantee a massive difference. PEACE AND LOVE IN YOUR RECOVERY.
