I’m going to give up on researching SN synthesis

The issue isn't making it. It's that it will never be pure. I read about a guy who tried to make it 7 times said it probably produced 60% sodium nitrite at best, and the rest sodium nitrate…

I was always going to buy from MIC anyways… but I have to wait till November before I can buy it.

So in the meantime I was researching how to make this. And I made a whole google doc with any bits of information that could help me. Just in case buying from MIC didn't workout for me.

Lol I spent a whole month researching this… at least it was kinda fun.

You act like you knew all along it was a waste of time.... but how could you know it would yield low purity... unless you have chemistry knowledge. Anyways Im glad that its not going to workout. It honestly seemed like so much work. I wouldve done it tho, if I had too.

Now I will be looking into how I can successfully acquire SN from MIC. I have to wait till November before buying it tho.

I already know of MIC and Ive been on the site, but I just need to know more about the process, what to say to sellers, what to ask them. I also might make a google doc of all the information I find on it, just to help me. I have a lot of time tho. November is a long way away.

I mean no disrespect by that, and I mean no disrespect by the following: it's like a simple mathematical equation… if it were so easy for a (normal, non chemistry genius) teen to synthesize (& have it be pure enough to use), then everyone and their grandma would be doing it instead of all the desperation here of people looking for sources, trying to figure out clues, worrying about welfare checks etc, etc, etc.

Its not easy at all, its a lot of hard work. I thought it would be difficult to make, yet have the possibility of ending up decently pure.
