Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Would have been nice to have kids. But I was never "ready." Now too late.

@Britvik Did you not want to have kids because of some kind of ethical reason, or just because you didn't feel like it? Just curious.

Is there an ethical reason to not want kids?
I was afraid. I didn't think I would be good at it. I didn't think I could handle the responsibility. I suffered with depression on and off. So, in a nutshell: fear.

I think the most common ethical reason would be that you're putting someone into existence who may not like it, and then there's no way out without causing everyone a lot of pain.
But yeah, I'm not judging your decision. I know that people have a need for meaning in their life, and it's pretty hard to achieve that if your worldview completely rejects life I imagine.

To be unethical, you'd have to know *before they were conceived* that they would not like it, then choose to conceive them anyway.

World views can change.

humans beings are just has bad has the universe when it comes to life and abandoning it to the deadly environment, no human being is capable of providing the right care for their children and taking care of all their needs and wants, not a single parent on earth is i mean they can't even provided themselves with a life worth living they just slave away for a pittance never achiving any thing worth while, just working a terrible job they hate to survie so thier offspring can do the same, "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.", not raised to make a diffrence not raised to be somebody we just come of the assmbely line of school and our parents except us just to get on with it, it's no where near good enought to even want to have children all you will be doing is bring them alive to suffer in this shithole and hellhole

I admired the dead, who had already died, above the living, who are still alive. But better than both is he who has not yet existed, who has not seen the evil that is done under the sun.
