I'm ending things next week.

I'm seeing my family this week & I plan to make it an enjoyable experience for them. A happy note to remember me by.

Then, I will take every pill from every prescription I have. I plan to go to the pharmacy and refill any that I can in preparation. It will be a combo of Quetiapine, Venlafaxine and Lamictal. I'll wash it down with a bottle of vodka and if I don't die of an overdose, I'll choke on my own vomit in my sleep.

I'll make sure to overfill all of my cats food so she will be okay until someone finds me. I hope it will be comforting for her to be able to cuddle up to me in bed while waiting for my body to be discovered.

I live alone so hopefully it doesn't take more than a few days. Everything feels like it's fallen into place. If there was a right time, it's now, and I'm not letting it pass by.

I feel so relieved knowing the end is in sight.

This method has a lot more nuance to it, as certain prescriptions have a high likelihood of lethality when taken in the right doses, while others have next to 0 chance. Generally, most prescriptions have a low chance of killing you. Psychiatric medications are the most discussed on this forum, and are also on the lower end of having any shot at killing you. Antidepressants vary in chance of killing you, though even the most toxic (tricyclics) have only about a 14% chance, not a very good statistic. At worst, certain antidepressants have only a 0.5% chance. Other medications, such as those taken for chronic conditions, vary wildly, however the list of those with a high chance of killing you is significantly shorter than the ones with little or moderate chance. Obviously it would be far too tedious to go and list off all of them.

Non-methods that should not be attempted

I did consider buying some Xanax or Oxy to take in addition. Would this up the mortality rate?

Why is that exactly?? If it's harmful to my cat I'll absolute lock my door.
