You should record the events, op. Only physical evidence holds any weight in this type of situation (if you decide to involve other people, for any reason, and maybe just for yourself aswell). Use a good or at least decent quality camera. Zoom in from time to time to clearly identify it/them. Also try to record as stably as possible. Good luck. Stay safe.

OP is obviously going through paranoid psychosis.
I don't think there's anything obvious about that, with such little information to go on. It's important to treat what they say at face value and form opinions based on the evidence as a whole.

Hope everything is okay, @Nurse T.

I disagree.
If this were true then you'd have police all over the county running around trying to find non-existent people accused of "following" or "harassing" others.

It's about using some common sense and trying to look at the big picture.

Yes, @Deathbydemo is right. It is quite obviously a paranoid episode.

I don't think anybody is questioning whether you saw her. I think the question is whether or not you're experiencing psychosis.

Next time you see this woman, it might be a good idea to try and take a photo of her with your phone. You could share this with us, if you are willing to.

I think you need to take a few breaths and calm down. I mean, technically this woman hasn't said or done anything to you.. you've just seen her several times.

I'm glad you contacted the police with your concerns. Hopefully, they will keep an eye out for you.

Do you think it's connected to the investigation from your work?

Thank you all, I appreciate your help, it's hard when you don't know who you can trust, I will get photos, I know it must be strange someone wanting to CTB being worried about someone watching them, but I want things to be on my terms,

No, but then since police been, my partner hasn't let me look outside, been following me around everywhere, this is why I was reluctant to inform police.

Take care of yourself and be on your guard. It's impossible for us to guess a possible motive for her behaviour, so stay alert when out in public and ensure safety measures while at home too. Hopefully the police will do a follow up check. Keep us updated and hope you're okay.

Hey OP I'm sorry you're going through such a tough time of things :-( First of all take a breath, I know it's really scary seeing someone follow you but the more you focus on it the more anxious you will get and the more your brain will tune into what it's looking for and therefore more anxiety. I, along with everyone here, doesn't know if this is part of paranoia/psychosis or whether you are actually being followed but either way it's very real and very scary right now. I've had many episodes of psychosis - it's been scary, I kept trying to tell people what was going on and I was met with 'you're paranoid/delusional etc and it only serves to make me more unwell. On the other side I've told people when I have thought I was being being monitored and no one believed me because I have a history of psychosis but it turned out it was real and no one took me seriously. This only served to make me feel more alone and desperate. Keep reaching out and talking, you do not have to face this alone.

I have to be careful because I'm being followed, I don't know who I can trust because I don't know who or why it is, I'm not ignoring messages from people but I need to watch my back at the mo! I don't know what to do about it??
Go public!!
Go public!!
I will go on record saying that this exists!!
I know because I used to be targeted and my gf used to try and do the catching. We're a match made from wood.

This women was outside my house again earlier, I left the house and rang the police cause I don't know who I can trust at home, they came and I met with them and we searched but she had gone!! I'm getting so Anxious it's horrible!!
When you say that this person was outside of your house do you mean that they were just walking past, or did they actually stop to look at your house do you think?

Also you have mentioned that someone may want to seek revenge against you; does this mean that you know this person in some way - even as just an acquaintance? You have also said that you saw this person multiple times, so do you recognize this person from somewhere else at all? When you see them in the street what body language do they have, and do they look at you?

If someone was following you that easily and wanted to do you harm, what's stopping them? There is no goal or achievement from just following somebody. It's more likely that you're going through some paranoia or another mental disorder.

If you truly believe you're being followed, and this person "following" you is doing it so obviously that they're doing it in public spaces as well.. just confront them. If someone had true bad intentions, something would have happened already.

Find someone you trust, who is of mental sound, and together confront the person. It is extremely likely that if they really are following you that the mentally sound person that is with you will be able to distinguish whether the person is acting suspicious or not. If they feel as though they're not suspicious but you still do.. then more than likely you're going through some mental problems and should seek help ASAP.

I hope all is well and you can fingers this out.

It's a possibility that if the person wanted to harm, they were waiting for the "right" moment. A moment when the victim isn't alert so they can catch their target off-guard and also when there aren't many possible witnesses, there is also a possibility that they were "scouting", evaluating the surroundings, schedules, habits, etc. Just saying. It's a possibility. We live in a dangerous world, in unstable times, where much is unknown and very little is known and I think it's a mistake to underestimate and/or minimize anything. Those who care for their safety and well-being have the right to do so whatever the extent, as long as they aren't harming anyone or anything or intending to harm anyone or anything unless it's purely for self-defense.

Be careful, op. Your safety is important. Better safe than sorry. Act with a cool head and think things through carefully and straight to the point. Do what feels best for you. Protect yourself and your well-being. Do everything you can do for your safety and relax.

Yes they were outside my house watching, Iv also seen her out where my horses are which is about 10miles from my house. I had to report a medical professional for something that I don't wish to get into, but they would have access to my address and details etc, they may have someone follow me in an attempt to discredit me? Much the same as the work thing?

I've followed your posts for a while through various attempts, and you have more lucid moments and posts that are less than lucid and much more manic in tenor. Have you spoken about this with your doctor. Could the stress from being investigated at work be contributing?

I'm being investigated at the moment to do with my work...
No idea if it's relevant to you, if you're claiming an injury at work or something along those lines, then insurance people might monitor/follow you.

I had that once when I fell over and hurt my arm at an old work place. I was followed for 6 weeks (whilst on sick leave) to see if I did any heavy lifting with it. Obviously I didn't because I really did hurt it.

Human science has gone as far as we can take it, the next step is to see where the human psyche can take us, we only use 3% or something of our brain and if we could bring it up even 1% it could mean the difference between extinction or survival.

how do we get a human to the next level...?

from what I've read you do it by putting humans into physical rat cages, our cities are this and every so often a special one comes about.

this person becomes targeted often being made out to be a pariah of society, lies will be made up and they will be made to seem crazy, or high on drugs,

it's at this state that the true testing begins.

it's called human-ecology and we've been doing it since the first a bombs dropped.

The idea that we only use 3% of our brains is stupid and disprovably false by fMRI. You are saying, in theory, one could lose 97% of brain mass and still be cognitively intact?

it does happen, someone you upset, ex-lover,acquaintance etc or even an employer, legally it can be a bit of a grey area, it's also a grey area to ask for help because you may seem paranoid etc.

my experience is the general population would have no interest or time to follow someone but the general public also would not commit a number of crimes, so saying it is not possible does not take into account for other peoples metal health for example someone who might stalk, rape etc may have a mental health issue, so saying the victim is paranoid or something and these things don't happen doesn't take into account the person doing such things may be mentally ill, in-fact both the perpetrator and victim may have mental health issues, so it becomes very tricky.
