I know that having money clearly doesn't solve everyone's problems because there are rich people that CTB... But I thought this would be a fun question to ask.

Imagine you set a date to CTB, and just before you die you purchased one ticket. You find out before CTB'ing that, against all the odds, you won the national lottery and now have 500 million... Pounds/euros/dollars....

What would you do next?

There's no wrong answers. It'd just be fun to hear what you would do or how it would change your life.

Use the money to create the most painless, peaceful way to ctb, then ctb. Give the rest to both my family and charity beforehand.

My ctb problems would disappear. I really believe with proper health care I'd be in much less pain & have better seizure control. my agoraphobia wouldn't ho away but I could afford a companion for errands & leisure. I don't think I'd be as depressed & barring getting something new I believe I'd find enough pain relief

I'm in the same boat as you. I know I'd still have problems but it wouldn't seem as bad. I feel worthless a lot of the time because the older I get the more I become... literally worth less. Debt. Medical bills. All that other stuff that requires money... it sucks trying your hardest fighting an uphill battle just to be crushed and fall farther and farther behind. I'm pretty sure this is probably the most common reason people feel suicidal. It sucks having no control over your problems.

But, I do know there are people who seem to have it all and they still CTB. Money is obviously not everything.

Buy a very comfy apartment on the center of the city (or maybe a comfy house far from the center) and build everything in a comfy way. I'd take a part of the money and would invest on the bank so I can earn money without doing anything, the rest I would give to my parents.
I don't see any reason, other than medical conditions, to ctb when you have a lot of money.

Would move to NYC and buy myself a nice apartment. I would get all the things I enjoy doing in life (awesome entertainment setup etc...) and just live like that. Wouldn't have to work anymore so that's perfect. I can decide on my own when to go outside.

I had the money and lost it , and yes , I want to kill myself I know I'll never make even a fraction big what I had.......

I didn't had physically the money....
But I had 2300 ethereums and bitcoins back in 2012.....
I lost my job ......
I had a car accident.....
Had to pay around $1000 USD
My mother wouldnt lend me the money and told me to sell my crypto.....
I sold, couldn't get a job because I had mental conditions....
A year ago I would have had 3million USD if I hadn't sold.....

Today I'm looking to earn extra $20usd besides my current job and I find no side businesses!! I don't find any way to earn money except my job...

I'll have to work from 8;to 6
And without friends or the possibility of a woman.... Because I have a horrible attitudeband can't help it ,
Because my attitude comes from
Not being able to make friends
Not able to hold a conversation
Not able to remember things
Shirt term memory due to drugs, medications, and 3 hard "hit my head" experiences.

I believe if I found how to make $20usd a day , in a side business I could have a better life... And scale it, I need no lottery just a small extra side business...

I always wanted one of those giant log homes up in the North Carolina Appalachians. The mountains there are so beautiful you have to see them to believe it. Range Rover and Aston Martin in the driveway. I would paint the scenery all day and totally lose myself in escapism until the day I die. It would be awesome.

Just like with crypto it will be a learning curve where you get more experienced as you go. The art market is so massive however that even if you happen to buy something and it turns out to be a mistake then you will very likely be able to still sell it somewhere and get your money back.

Note: I am mostly talking about objects. Not paintings. Those are a bit more risky

Probably set up a law firm, give it to my friend to over see. Leverage social media and crowdfunding. Make docudramas of legal battles spun in a David vs Goliath style whilst teaching consumer rights and contractual law in an easy to digest series. Oddly such things are not taught as standard in a capitalist society... Buy up failing local papers and turn them into fact check news outlets sharing space alongside the Daily Mail poison and freely distributed on trains to go against the dominant retarded narrative we are so often surrounded by. Set up a whistleblower inative, pay people to lift the lid on exploitative practices then protect them after the fact. Have that information appear in my paper and its mirrored website. Probably just be called the Boring Facts, with articles on critical thinking likely debunking dominant headlines of the time from any source, left, right or uninformed celebrity crap. Buy up some property and rent it out so I can be a lazy landlord and give that job to some one else to manage. lastly consult the people who know how to turn money into more money just because you have money. Maybe set up a bird of prey centre and buy a goat. I have always wanted a goat.

I would give life another try, BUT, many successful, Richard famous people ended up killing themselves. I'd try to set up some kind of brick and mortar charity for pro choice in case I still wanted to ctb. If that would even be possible. And leave some for my nephews.

I would buy a new computer with a fast graphics card and CPU and lot of memory. Yes I know ... I like to think bold.
I can't change my mind. I would give part to my family, part to animal care centers where I live. And also give part to Space-X to help to develop the Starship/BFR. And a bit for my therapist for helping and respecting me.
I don't want to have a new house. But I would like for my cats. They could run and play.
I don't know what happens, that when I try to think something I would like, it hurts my heart ¿Why? I don't know.
Think ... think ... what I would like to have? mmm ... a car? I just sold my car. I don't like driving and cars.
The thing I would really want is to be able to buy food without looking prices in the supermarket. That would be awesome.
Ah! I need some clothes. tshirts, underwear. And I would fix the wall in the bathroom that is falling.
When I was young I liked to think what would I do if I won the lottery. My dream was to have a house full of cats & dogs rescued from the streets.
I would go to the dentist to fix my teeth. May be I could change all the teeth. But for now just I would fixed the most urgent. I do have like a homeless teeth.
I would have internet forever. Now I have it temporally.
I would study in the university and finish it. And I would like to work as a programmer with other people in a company not owned by me. Ok, then I will need a car to go to work. I would buy one that consumed the less possible. May be electric.
Aaaah! I would finish to pay my mortgage ... oh! my god ... how could I forget this?!!!
And also I need an air conditioner. It's so, so hot here in summer. You can be still, and sweating a lot. You can't sleep sometimes
Ok. I would go to dinners with my friends sometimes. But I'm so costumed to be alone, that I think ... I'll be ok just with my cats.
Money wouldn't make me a better spouse. So I would avoid a relation, I think.

Without question it would make my life worth living. It's the only thing that can subdue the thoughts that go on in my head. I'd be so busy i wouldn't have time to think about suicide. There's so many things i'd like to do/own that are not stupid expensive yet so out of reach for ordinary people like me who don't have much (if any) to spare at the end of the month even though i work my ass off every day. You wouldn't see me in expensive places, party's,being a baller ... I'd be alone enjoying myself with cars etc. No fake friends and all that shit. I'd take good care of my family aswell so they don't have a hard time with money anymore. It's the ultimate dream for me ...

Five hundred million Dollars, you say?

First I'd wire hefty sums to deserving persons like yourself and @Marawa. Maybe we can celebrate the acquisition with a live action rendition of Beetlejuice!

The remainder I would use to establish a survivalist compound with like-minded individuals in a remote area, preferably one with lax property acquisition and firearms procurement legislation. When it's all done, I'd politely ask one of my advisors to firmly implant a bullet into the back of my head.

POW! Ha ha ha.

PSSD (post ssri sexual dysfunction) but i don't really care about the sexual sides. I just can't think anymore and have awful muscle problems. It also feels like my personality is just drugged away, my mind is empty. I'm not able anymore to go to college/ do a job etc... i'm just rotting away at home :(

That reminds me, I'd probably chip in on PSSD research too. Imagine what good could be done with the right financial backing and direction. If you put your winnings towards studying and better understanding this adverse drug effect and how it destroyed us, you could at least deter some and better educate others. As we should have been well before even taking such poisons!

That would be better than ctb! Finding a cure and go back to our normal state. My love for my previous self is the only thing that keeps me going tbh :/ idk, maybe gentherapy of stemcell therapy will cures us one day, if we are still around.
