Discussion If you were to CTB, where would you want to do it?

For me, it would be a place which brings out the most memories out of me, so probably one of the fields above my old friends house. Its a place which holds most of my actually enjoyable memories.

I'd love to do it on a beach too, sadly I live way too far away from one + the beaches in my country are awful, I'd rather do it on some italian beach.

I'd love for it to be where I always dreamt to get in life, far away from my home, where I could be truly free and be happy in my own way. Unfortunately I've fucked up my chance of making that life happen. I'm killing myself in my aunt's empty flat via CO.

I don't like the idea of anyone having the shock of finding my corpse. Not my landlord or building manager and certainly not a minimum-wage hotel employee. Ideally, I 'd like to dispose of my body myself and I've come up with the idea of a cruise ship cabin with balcony. I know that, if someone sees the dive or hears the splash, the crew will have to launch the rescue boat so I plan to strap on a heavily weighted back-pack before I drink the SN. Landing on a lower deck or, worse, another balcony could lead to rescue so I will make a prior dry run on the same ship and floor to check that the drop is clear. Please let me know if you see any loopholes in this.

I can imagine. Many of the buildings are way too inaccessible unless you're mega-rich.

I have a personal fantasy of doing it in Japan's famous Aokigahara Forest- I would love to be surrounded by nature, and dying in a country I've always wanted to visit would be great. However, I also don't want to risk my death failing, ending up in the woods helpless and alone... so my second choice would be a luxury hotel room in some major city like New York. I'd treat myself to a final day of enjoying life, and then tuck myself into a cozy bed, the lights and sounds of the city humming through my window, as I drift off for the last time.

The first time I was suicidal and had no experience whatsoever, I fantasized about cutting myself in the snow, watch as the snow turns red, and feel the warm blood that's flowing out of me.
