Lol this is actually a funny question to make in this forum.

I think being immortal would actually solve the problems of a lot of suicidal people. Think about it, if you had the certainty that you can't die, then you can do whatever you want: you don't have to worry anymore about food, money, your health (if you're immortal your cells are too), being killed by other person… I personally would feel relieved, tell my parents they can fuck off about me not working and probably take a walk trip around my country at least, for a couple of months or years.

Of course at some point I would get bored and probably feel more alone than ever, and then it would be hell, but I guess I could fuck my way around enjoying life for a couple of decades, maybe even a century before that. Not like reality, that's been 32 years of worries, pain and failures.

I would try my hardest not to think about how I am going to suffer because of not being able to escape, and maybe, uh, try to do stuff. Like science. I've always been into science. Or some creative stuff. I don't know, thinking about being immortal gives me literal headaches and the feeling of despair and anxiety.

Immortality sounds great but I've always had my doubts. I thought that maybe eternal youth might be better, but then I always think that the sun won't last forever. Will I wander space forever suffocating? Maybe by that time we'll have colonized another planet or found another solution. But it sounds like a tall order.

I'd strap on a bunch of weight belts and go and explore the ocean. Presumably I wouldn't need to eat, breath, work a boring job- if I can't die. Going to be a bummer if I still feel pain though...

Exploring in general would be cool- without the risk of killing yourself. So long as pain and injuries were impossible too.

but after the years pass and pass, how would you keep yourself motivated? imagine you have exhausted all activities, careers and pleasures. what would you do to make life continue to be worth living?
