• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

    šŸ‘‰ View the ledger here

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I overdosed a bit ago, and landed up in the hospital.

Unfortunately i survived and they held me against my will in a psych ward until they decided i was 'no longer a threat to myself'

Now im basically on probation for 1 year and if i go to the hospital for a failed attempt or feeling like i want to ctb i lose my freedom and get locked in a psych ward.

I feel fucking fantastic

moral of the story, don't build a medical record of going to the psych ward if you can. I previously would check myself in when i was depressed and they counted negatively against me

noted.
Tho with the gun show loophole, it is quite interesting that in minutes, someone can CTB, and not much will likely be done about that.
With vehicles, slamming an accelerator on a highway and meeting the mountain as fast as possible is also interesting...

Both ways of death are ofc not guaranteed (due to Murphy's Law, almost any error can happen), nor do I recommend people reading choose any way to CTB, though ofc some CTB can't be practically stopped.

yeah seems like the first attempt shouldn't really fail for a number of reasons.

This is terribly unfair. I'm sorry you had to go through all this against your will. This kind of thing happens not only in the US, but all over the world. In my country, orphans who run away from orphanages are put in a mental hospital for a while - it's just absurd!
