The uninteresting answer would if you donated the time for nothing. It would be altruistic but not that interesting.
I am not sure how such a life would look like. I could imagine people win thrid world country would trade huge amounts of their life time simply to increase the horrible conditions they live in.
Most likely not that many people in rich countries would give away life time. But suicidal people would be in a good position.
I think it isn't easy to demand love for life time. Actually, I wouldn't want to bribe someone into loving me. I would probably go for money. Sex seems to be too unethical. I am not against sex work. But I could imagine people vulnerable people would be desperate for more life time when they don't have anough money.
I could imagine billionaires would try to get an infinite life time. And in such a scenario this would not be too unlikely.
My personal answer. I think the end of one's life is often pretty horrible when one reaches old age. I would probably start to sell 10 years of my remaining life time. I would hope to receive 100.000-1.000.000 Euros in exchange. Personally, I am not sure how insane this statement sounds to someone who isn't suicidal and hates life.
I could sell more and more time afterwards still. But I probably would not want to purchase new life time if I regretted my decision.
A lot of my life problems and sorrows centered around poverty. And I would want to experience no sorrows concerning this issue. I would like to find out whether it would take some pressure off my shoulders and make me enjoy life a little bit more. I think it would not make a huge change. But I would be curious to find out. Money enables a lot and you have a better hand on the dating market.
Something that just crossed my mind. I sometimes admire people that think live fast, die young (regret nothing). Because it is absolutely diametrcial to my risk aversion approach to life. In general I think my approach ends in most cases better. Not in mine. Lol. But Lil Peep, Juice WRLD experienced a world I will never know. They risked it all, won a lot and still lost everything eventually. In some way they sold their life for fame, money and drugs.
