If you could have been a sports star, which profession would you have chosen?

Asssuming, you magically gained that talent.

I like to watch soccer. Today Bayern Munich vs PSG. As a teen I also played soccer but very mediocre. I imagined it to be cool being a soccer star.

Chess would be interesting. Maybe one could gain insights in mental games, psychological warfare and strategizing. However, I don't even know the basic rules. When it comes to something like that I either want to be perfect in it or I don't even start it...Maybe it would also have made me insecure if I was bad in it. I could imagine I would have a lot of pain to learn the basics. But actually this goes for almost any game. Nowadays, I most often only play games which rules I already know.

I would not like to be an American football players. These people become time bombs after too many hits on their brain. Some start shootings or get dementia. I would never want that any people I like be into that sport to gain money. It is not worth it.

And if I get sick of it I can always decide to crash my car into a wall at 350 km/h (217 mph).

What a great question - I used to play high-school American Football on the D-Line but the usual knee injury took me out. Of course I was not going to make it anywhere but it is nice to dream. Probably either of the Bosa or Watt brothers would be my wish. I do remember seeing Mark Gastineau track down a running back from across the field - that guy was amazing for a defensive end- part of the NY Sack Exchange

Maybe boxing, but maybe that's cheating since I'm actually experienced so it's not really a talent I wish I could "magically attain"
I think it would be pretty cool to be a rally driver though, listening to eurobeat while doing some sick drifts...
