Discussion If you could express your emotions through whatever form you wanted, what would it be?

It can be imaginary, real, something have have done, or just something you want to do. It can express all of your emotions, some of them, or any state of mind you wish you could say to the world but can't right now.


For me it would be playing the cello. For various reasons I've never taken it up (largely expense, time, and mental willpower). I did take a few lessons, and nothing has ever felt like it expresses my innermost self in that way. The depth of sound feels so right I feel like it captures and expresses the essence of me.

I'd make a animated cartoon series with cartoon animals that starts out very innocuous, but after some episodes while the characters start getting hostile to each other and in the end everyone is isolated on their own homes, secluded, wishing they could go back. The series was canceled after that so we never know what happens afterwards.

I should actually want to be better in the creative field I work in- and I do wish that, of course.

Still, music holds a special place in my heart. If I could be blessed to do anything, it would be to be able to write music. I obviously admire people who can play it too but, to be able to create an original and moving score must be incredible. I often find myself listening to pieces. Obviously admiring the playing but thinking- how on earth did someone come up with something so exquisite?

I think CTBing would be the only real and sincere expression of my feelings. Whatever other mean of expressing myself truly and sincerely needs to be equally violent and shocking. It's weird but it's how I feel.

Probably art. I like drawing, I'm just not very good at it so I can't be expressive.

Art has so many different mediums. Comics, paintings, watercolor, just a simple drawing. It can help express how you feel at any moment.

I guess if I could I'd make a comic. One where it just shows me going about my day. Waking up, going to work, going home. I could show the tiredness I have to hide every night as I go to my car. I've always loved wolves. I suppose I'd be a wolf. I'd probably make everyone in the comic an animal, just because I like the look of it. But if I wanted to be more poetic. I guess everyone else word be a sheep.

I'd be the suicidal depressive hiding among the mentally sane. A wolf in sheep's clothing. A wolf too afraid and ashamed to be who I really am.
