If someone cared about you would they help you in supporting your decision to leave?

In my opinion if someone truly cared about me then they would allow me to ctb as they would be understanding of how much I hate life and so care about me not suffering and respect my freedom. This is why I would say my family doesn't truly care about me as they prevent my attempts as much as possible by trapping me. Here they are thinking more for themselves than me.

Yes, they would.
I believe if someone really fucking cared about me they would first to do everything they can for actual suicide prevention (helping me with bills, medications, rides, my home, etc) and if making sure my needs were met/trying to help me foster my community wasn't enough to make my need to CTB stop, if they really actually cared about me, they'd help me CTB. And because I really care about them, I'd also make sure I didn't do it in a way that implicated them.

Yes I agree! When they see you suffering they should emphasize with you and try to help your pain end if the really cared.

I agree! That's true and even with that support for prevention and if there was no progress they should help you ctb. Who want to see a loved one in constant pain and suffering? It's not fair!!!
