  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I'd beg to argue that most of the people here know what it means to suffer greatly. If the level of suffering we experienced cumulatively during our life bought us some kind of reward after death, what would the reward need to be to make it up to you? Or do you think there is nothing worth how much suffering you've been through and so there is no "make up"?

I don't think people should have to suffer in the first place to receive a reward after death. Especially not knowing whether anything happens after. If we did, probably other than people doing good for that, we'd also probably get weird Flagellant cults making themselves and other people suffer even more for a reward later. I actually think that people should just do good and feel good for goodness' sake and not for any kind of reward really.

Mmm, for reward that's tough. Can it just be to end suffering? I have issues with suffering in general lol, I hate that it is a thing.

Only if after I'm done with that reward I can finally permanently shut off my existence.

A life as "myself again" but this time good health, plentiful happiness and being born in a good family in a first world country, a brain that works and having meaningful relationships. A life completely opposite to my actual one. I actually do want to live just not with my mental illnessess and physical health.

My suffering isn't the worst, it's just entirely meaningless.

Nothing would ever make up for the suffering. I should have never been born in the first place, life is so unnecessary, I was perfectly fine not existing until I was forced to live. The fact that we can suffer so much is horrifying. However when we are dead, we cannot experience anything and this life will be gone, and for me that is the one comforting thought. The only thing I want is non existence.

Aye non-existence is practically its own reward when existence is pain. I wonder if thats what Mr. Meeseeks represents.

I'd want that too. Another shot at life where this time everything goes right. There is only bliss.
