I'd say- probably a medium setting. There are certainly people out there living harder lives than me. BUT, I'm definitely playing an early release version of the game- full of bugs and glitches where- if you do something even slightly wrong, you end up stuck in a wall or something. Plus- you forgot to save early on and now, you're going to have to restart the whole damn thing until the glitch shows up again...

Me too, prob medium because really my life circumstances are no where near as difficult as some, but my game not only has glitches but it's just burnt up the computer and crashed, the game really should never have been sold, because as it turns out whilst it's a relatively easy and soothing game at level 30 everything turns into hell scape and the game crashes, and burns your house down. It's a programmers sick joke

(Like if you just started playing tears and just cutting grass for restless crickets around hyrule and doing some easy shrines then out of no where the sky turns red and the gloom hands reach out from the screen to strangle you until you are dead in real life). Game over

i feel like im playing medium difficulty but on a really shitty old computer that can barely run the game. i started out with the right things to see me to the final boss, but my computer is struggling to render anything, the npcs dialogue is corrupt, im running at 1fps, the tutorial boss' introduction sequence crashed my game, and everytime i reboot it something new crashes it.

I think easy... Luckily I got a really good spawnpoint (and I am so greatful) ofc it can be better but on a global level im really lucky... I just fucked it up lol. If I keep fucking it up ill ragequit lmao

medium, no abuse or SA or CPTSD or anything, had a relatively normal childhood other than a few rocky things
live a relatively normal life it just isnt fun tho thats why im here
theres people out there that have it way worse. i have it pretty good but i still dont enjoy life so im gonna ctb anyway

I picked hard, especially going by the standards of my time and place. Extreme might even be warranted going by those...

In a sense it doesn't really matter what path people take if they end up here in the same place...

Medium, not in the worst situation you could imagine but I'm a really bad player so even this difficulty is a big challenge for me.

That's the exact metaphor I use for my life too. Extremely unusual hand, and even though I'm trying so hard to use my imagination to not see them as rotten cards, I keep coming up short. No idea how to play them, and no one in the whole wide world to guide me.

Medium. I have everything I need to be living in easy mode, yet my mind refuses to accept that things are going well. I've lived in extreme mode for years, but not anymore.

I played on extreme difficulty for the first 7-8 years, then changed to medium for 8 years and now, I've been playing on hard difficulty for the past 9 years.
