I would like to hear your opinions on my setup.
Currently preferring breaking of the neck by hanging:
Location - this is relatively secluded, and all the times I've spotted the spot, I haven't seen a person there.
Still, the structure is well taken care of, so people do come by sometimes.
The person likely to find me first is somebody from forestry or a hiker.
On what day, and at what time of day would it be most optimal to catch the bus?
Rope - used to tow cars, should be more than enough for me.
Stability of support structure - the hunting booth is relatively solid, should be enough,
but it does have some elasticity & give, which could soften the impact force.
Height - is way more than I should theoretically need,
but to compensate for potential elasticity & because I would rather risk beheading rather than asphyxiation,
I have chosen way more than needed. ( I'm 165lb )
Knot - I have read multiple sources that claim different knots to be the most optimal.
Subaural & Submental being the most commonly advised options.
I would like to have exact instructions on the type of knot most optimal.
If you have other methods completely that you would advise, please do share them.
I haven't decided to do it anytime soon, but I'd like to have my best options thought through, and hanging seems most optimal currently.
On another note; what should I do before I finally commit to it?
I feel like I'd forget to do 90% of the stuff I'd have to do
getting all my stuff in order, cleaning the house, writing a note, ...
