Yea cleaning up shit and white powder off the bathroom floor amongst broken shards of the toilet seat at subway fucking sucked and so did dealing with angry tweakers. But y'know what? I don't fucking blame you for touching that shit. This world is a horrific one, I can't even feel anything that isn't just a wild moodswing from content to rage at the smallest thing that only gets worse with time.
As a kid I grew up naiive & middle class, absorbing that propaganda about The American Dream, believing that the government and OTHER PEOPLE were inherently nice, caring and had our backs, it's what gave me the determination to get out of that abusive household. Someone goes homeless, resources are supposed to be there right? There's supposed to be shelters and hospitals and professionals for everyone who needs it, right? Houses should be affordable right? Criminals aren't supposed to be in power yes?? We were supposed to learn from history, yea? Medical care should be easily accessible right? Isn't that how it's supposed to work? Then why isn't it???
I'm fucking sorry for all the God awful things I've said out of anger. There were times I was a real POS when in reality we're all suffering and being fucked over, and there's not much anyone in power will do to change things. When one is in that position, burnt out, mentally ill and unable to access basic care; Does a job even seem worth it all? Probably not. I still would rather not have to clean up human feces and white powder off the floor, but whatever abuse and hell lead you to that point. I'm sorry. Truly sorry. I don't blame you.
