But roughly 4,500 a year. ( 12 a day )
More then 200 attempts per day.

Well I'm guessing thousands of peeps attempt everyday here. Half of them are teenage students.

Before a few years I read a document by some suicide prevention organization in my country. It said that about 10K people kill themselves every year. That would be correlate to about 12% of all births of a year in my country.

New Zealand has the highest or second highest youth suicide rate among OECD nations.

I read also one of the reasons is teenage relationship breakup and loneliness. Also many Maori people.

Where I live, there've been around 2K suicides in 2021. The highest suicide rate was in 1984, which is humorous if you ignore the whole 'dying' part.
