You know what I wish I could say to people, especially the only person in my life without judgement and just... Understanding?
"I don't owe you my life. If I were to kill myself, I want you to walk away. I want you to not mourn, I want you to not beg me to stay. I want you to know that each time you ask me to stay, to not die... I feel like you're telling me you want me to keep suffering, I feel like you're begging me to keep living like this. I feel like you want me to stay mentally ill, unhappy, and face severe social, financial, physical, and psychological repercussions for the rest of my life. I know it's not what you mean, but to stay alive for me means I'm forced to live a severely degraded life, in all aspects."
