I would certainly reconsider, lots more things are bad with my life, but having someone who loves you can force you to resuscitate.

im not kidding when i say i would love to cradle someone in my arms while they die. there are definitely people out there who would do that for you, but it takes a special breed i guess.

I was able to provide this for both of my parents. My dad did the death with dignity process. He went very peacefully, we should all be so lucky. My mom went naturally. I've been with enough people in their last hours to know the symptoms so I knew it was coming. It also was very peaceful. I truly think that being in my arms helped them accept what was happening. Ironically, I doubt that it will be case for me.

That's a sweet thought. I don't like to be touched and no one wants to hold me anyway, so it all works out. Sometimes I wish I could imagine wanting to be held when I die, but I want to be left alone. I could imagine myself holding someone else as they die, just to be nice.
