Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I was in love with various Final Fantasy characters for awhile. It was awkward and definitely didn't win me any new friends in high school. Fast forward a dozen years later and came across the rule34 boards on Reddit.
I used to be in love with zelos wilder from tales of symphonia hehe. Also for someone to make fun of you for being sexually abused, like wow, to think humans couldn't get any more shitty...
If I had to, I'd rather fall in love with imaginary characters. They're always here at my beck and call. Investing in real people is like investing in mmorpg characters, strangely enough. Eventually I'll get bored, or the server will close, or I'll get banned, or whatever separates us. What then? I'm left with nothing but memories, imagery.
I used to joke around about my imaginary girlfriend but I'm not cool enough to actually be able to do this kind of thing. Lmao at my smooth and tiny brain.
yes,you are correct. i am def sorry if i offended this guy. it is because i am older than a lot of people here,my ctb troubles are unfixable,it has to do with loved ones being dead. but this guy,as bad as it is,has a chance in life! yes it hurts bad when you love someone. but love is not magic from god or angels, its a biochemically based reaction that stems from your basic bio drive to reproduce. in time
I had a very short relationship with this person (one month, I think ). I keep going out / talking to she even after I finish we were friends so there was no problem.
I became obsessed with her of course she discovered everything I did and never wanted to see me again.
I should do this, but idk I don't have more much ease in meeting people.
i dont mean to be unsympathetic! yes its very hard. but with time i think you will getbetter. me, i cant fix my situation.my life is over. but you may have a chance. good luck!!
I fell for Princess Daisy very early on because of her adorable voice, body type, and charisma, Overall I think the crushing on fictional characters phenomenon is a common one. I don't have personal experience with it becoming so debilitating bur I feel your pain.
I used to be in love with all sorts of anime/game characters from grade school to high school mostly because the boys my age were always awful to me and the real boys I did have a crush on were always adults (insert chris hansen gif here).
So yeah this actually saved me a lot of drama and I am forever grateful for my 2d love during that time.
op,don't be too down on yourself. even the adults who did get married and had kids aren't living cookie cutter picture perfect lives. If your 2d love bothers you maybe you should ask yourself why you love said character and try to find someone who has those same characteristics personality wise. Hell if he's adventurous enough you might even get him to cosplay as the character...but only if he's comfortable with doing that....
I feel the closer I came to love a character was Kyoko from Maison ikkoku.
I don't think it ever came close to fantasy though.
But that is in no way something weird, it's actually been accepted more and more over time, I mean there's been a marriage in japan between a man and his waifu. It's going to become something true in the future.
