I always do things for everyone.
I genuinely care about them..


They always care about someone else.



I'm only the replacement.



All I wanted was a hug from someone who cares about me,

not someone who sees me as someone else.



I'm hugging my plushies, imagining they're someone else..
I rub their little hands against my head like it's a real hand..

stroking my hair, gently.



I'm sure it feels warm.
I want to feel it too..



I just want someone to love me.


Not someone who takes it all and leaves me empty..


It hurts.



I want to rest my head in someone's hands,
have them embrace me,
make me feel safe.
make me feel like everything is going to be alright..

so I won't be alone when I go.

I want someone to hug me, I don't want to die alone..

This might seem out of left field but I'm almost 100% positive you're a "Little" and I bring this up, because you really need someone who is like a platonic caregiver who supports you emotionally, if you date someone and it's not platonic that's your business, but you are very sensitive and have a really big heart. Hopefully you find someone soon to remind you how amazing you are each and every day.

Yeah, I agree with Last Gray Sky,OP.Don't give so much when you get so little. I know that's easier said than done because you have a giving personality I believe and no one can change so easily.But please try to be a bit more selfish.

You deserve proper hugs, as many as you want from someone in your life that truly cherishes you.

@SR20DET I could have written most of what you did. I empathize too much with what you wrote. I'm so touch starved and completely unable to resolve that. I am sorry you understand what this feels like, I wish better for you. I have never known what being touched/hugged by someone who loves you for just being you feels like. I imagine it would be nice, though.

Perhaps somewhat related....I once saw a video of a guy in what looked liked like shopping mall holding a sign that said Free Hugs. He had a few takers in the clip I saw.

I've seen those... and maybe they are good (the free hugs) for some... but it wouldn't be for me. A faux hug from a stranger wouldn't mean anything to me and it would feel so awkward. I need a hug from someone who knows and sees and cares about me. It needs to be real. I'm not saying sexual... But it needs to come from a sincere place where you both care about each other. Otherwise the hug is like a handshake, something people do because they think they are supposed to... and I'd get nothing from that. Hell, I probably would feel worse after that faux hug.
