I want another lockdown

I want lockdown back so bad - permanent lockdown. I can't stand all these people everywhere. Half of them walk around like zombies completely oblivious of their surroundings. Traffic is worse then ever since now everyone feels the need to be out at all times. I was the most relaxed I had been in years during lockdown. The world would be so much nicer without all of these people all over the place.

Actually it wouldn't. If you don't want to be here you shouldn't have to battle a horrible illness and suffer to escape. Its ridiculous' people feeling like you and I are just not either helped or if that's not possible, given a humane way to exit

Are the numbers going up again?

I've seen that Eurpoe has been going up and the resulting warnings but haven't seen anything about England/UK. It's confusing since brexit. I never know id the reports re Europe include UK or not. Seems to vary.

Seems like vaccinations haven't been quite as effective as planned and there's some confusion around the stats surrounding booster jabs.

If they'd been more decisive and just closed all borders and isolated it at the start the world would not be in this mess. Vested interests and attempting to please everybody has fucked us all. I was screaming at the screen, "close the borders". It would have been a short lockdown and whilst it would have been a huge inconvenience it wouldn't have been as costly or inconvenient as the drawn out protracted shit show that has essentially had no positive long term effect at all.

Yes, around 40,000 daily.... 200+ dead today. I suspect there is a new mutant varient here and in Europe. Its seems to have outsmarted us in some.way. In England, there is less mask wearing too so who knows !

Dr Campbell. Yes familiar with his vlogs. He called pandemic in January 2020 when news was emerging. Very smart doc. But governments and people didn't listen and now they are swirling around in a stinking mess blaming everyone but themselves!.

News feeds are talking the about new' detected ' variant now . 'Delta plus" variant is emerging in Europe. I know Russia has had an explosion of cases and deaths. How the new variant interacts with humans and vaccines remains to be seen. Clearly, head honchos are concerned. If its in Europe, it's probably in England too and may explain the new surge. Isnt it strange how something, like a virus can cause such devastating effect s to humans, not to mention the fallout it creates. Yeah same, and my country is bringing back restrictions this week which should mean the club I work in can't be open but my boss is deciding to just remain open anyway smh…
I actually do enjoy my job but I'm just so unbearably depressed and suicidal it would be nice to just have permission to not do anything all day again

I absolutely hated lockdown and violated it by walking in a nearby forest, finding my way around quarantine patrols to get there.
Sitting under total house arrest which is prolonged again and again for weeks and months is really disgusting, especially when it is spring and perfect weather outside. I too do not like when there is a lot people around, but no such problem exists in the forest or if you go out early in the morning.

I am glad that many people in my country broke the rules too, and eventually the authorities gave up and have never tried to introduce strict lockdown again.

I do have to admit that the lockdown was initially great for my mental health - it was a mini-vacation, really. But after some time it really started to negatively impact me. Don't like to mix being at home all the time with working

Some people love it but most people don't. Isolation kills. Cabin fever sets in. It eventually gets boring. Depression gets worse. And so on. I hate that everything can be closed or you can't go anywhere. Even some parks around me get closed. I hate feeling like a fucking hamster on a wheel trapped inside constantly. Humans aren't made for this. Maybe for some but not me. And never mind what could happen to the economy or society at large if another lockdown were to happen.

I doubt it would happen again. There is no Domonic Cummings or Matt Hancock. Criticise them all you want but the rest if them just care about the economy foremost. Most people wouldn't take any notice now anyway.
