• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I understand why people just fucking snap.

Do I agree with the reasons? Not all the time.

Would I partake in a crash-out so detrimental? Absolutely not.

But do I understand? Yes I do.
And am I surprised by this growing phenomenon of people (animals pretty much) losing all four corners of their shit? No, quite fucking frankly I am not.

After all... these constant murder-suicides (just an example) ain't happening in a fucking vacuum. Take from that what you will.

AI (artificial intelligence) is going to be a HUGE problem, why?

Because human nature can be completely unpredictable, like when someone kills a friend or their entire family.

Our brain is a chemical soup and also so many outside influences, there always will be the "glitch" or call it what one wants.

It is neither, right nor wrong, it is what it is.

Like in business over 50 years, I have seen stuff that makes a person really wonder if humanity is ever going to evolve. Yes, it is not murder, but it still makes zero sense.

Yes, there is modern social pressure, extreme inequality in regard to financial issues with a person and/or family and other trigger points.

I am 70, so I will not be able to see, hopefully, the start of it, but universal basic income, medical care and the like, housing will be coming, whether rich folks like it or not, and even wars will be less frequent.

Like I have always said and always will we as a species have 2 options, 1) evolve or 2) go the way of the dinosaurs

Maybe that is one reason that I always loved all the Star Trek movie, shows, money is gone and all basic living requirements are met, and time and energy are spent on much more productive ventures.

Maybe I am either optimistic or just a darn stupid fool, but I always like to see the glass half full.

Human nature is, and was, highly unpredictable historically. There's always been people struggling with the world, and there always will be. No matter the circumstance.
Our brain is a chemical soup and also so many outside influences, there always will be the "glitch" or call it what one wants.
You said it.
It is neither, right nor wrong, it is what it is.
Sadly, I have to agree. It is what it is. It was what it was and it will be what it will be.
Like in business over 50 years, I have seen stuff that makes a person really wonder if humanity is ever going to evolve. Yes, it is not murder, but it still makes zero sense.
Go back in time. Industrial revolution. The computer & the internet. Same worries, different mechanism.
Yes, there is modern social pressure, extreme inequality in regard to financial issues with a person and/or family and other trigger points.
I guess it's the nature of our condition. It's been this way, and it likely will be this way in this realm. Contrast has to exist. Opposites have to remain for there to be any meaning.
I am 70, so I will not be able to see, hopefully, the start of it, but universal basic income, medical care and the like, housing will be coming, whether rich folks like it or not, and even wars will be less frequent.
Bro, I wish I was 70. Maybe 90. I wish I didn't have to grow up in the internet/connected age where you just keep chasing knowledge like a dog chasing its own tail.
Like I have always said and always will we as a species have 2 options, 1) evolve or 2) go the way of the dinosaurs
Eventually, dinosaurs. There's no real way around it I don't think. Unless we escape this planet and continue elsewhere and keep doing that as a species. But to be honest, who cares? Ultimately it's about your own experience anyway.
Maybe that is one reason that I always loved all the Star Trek movie, shows, money is gone and all basic living requirements are met, and time and energy are spent on much more productive ventures.
Such a nice way of living. I wish it was like that here.
Maybe I am either optimistic or just a darn stupid fool, but I always like to see the glass half full.

It's not a bad thing to see the glass half full, if you can keep it up. Well done. My glass has been half emtpy, maybe fully so. Can't seem to find the faucet anymore.
