I don't know how long you've had suicidal impulses. 1 year, 2 years, 3 years, 5 years, maybe even since you were ten years old- point is, you managed to make it another year despite those crushing feelings. Whatever credit or lack thereof you're giving yourself, it isn't enough. You're pretty tough. Two decades on this hellscape is impressive.
