Yeah I thought so.. I'm confused as to why everyone's reacting in this manner. I mean they could die. I don't know. I think it's unlikely. Here's a graph showing the grams of SN needed per mass.. This isn't to detract from their post, but to maybe show that it's not as fatal as one might think.

The LD Low (lowest lethal dose) of sodium nitrite for humans is 71 mg/kg. If OP didn't vomit and is of average weight, then 5 grams very well could have been a lethal dose.

Personally this is why I don't want to rely on SN to CTB. Even if it currently has the best balance between cost, accessibility and success atm, it still takes too long to take full effect for my preferences. Way more than enough time for people like Brayu and me to panic.

The chart is extremely helpful, but people forget that those doses are not the lethal dose. They are the dose needed for to SN regimen. Taking the suggested dose will be so strong, it will knock you out (provided you keep it down) and you will be unconscious for the worst of it. In other words, it's the dose you need for the most peaceful possible exit.

The lethal dose is MUCH lower. Some people think they can test with smaller doses, but this is highly discouraged. It may be counterintuitive, but the smaller dose can mean a worse experience for you.
