Story i think the universe just asked me to kill myself

i was home alone, smoking weed. my brother wasnt supposed to come back for about three hours from then. but as it goes, the weed asked me to get scared and i did, started thinking "what if my brother comes home early" "what if he catches me" and stuff. i was in my room and a random thought popped up in my head. "if the doorbell rings now i will literally KILL MYSELF." annnd GUESS WHAT the bell rang almost instantly. I WAS SO SCARED LIKE WTF THERES ABSOLUTELY NO WAY and then i went to go answer the door but it was just the guard and he came to inform me that the powers gonna go out for 30 mins. like damn man I JUST HAD THAT THOUGHT and it wasnt possible for my brother to be home so early but the universe still did it by ringing the bell for something so weird at that exact moment


was this a sign?

Depends on how you look at it. To me, it seems like a mere coincidence. And even if the universe did ask you to kill yourself, you should only do it for your own sake. After all, suicide is a personal opinion. Anyways, I hope your brother never catches you smoking and I hope things get better.

If the universe is sentient and doesn't like you I don't see why it would allow you to exist in the first place.
If it can make someone ring your doorbell couldn't it send a murderer or something?????

I just had a thought where if it wasn't apathetic to our existence, then it might be actively enjoying our suffering. And if we assume that what we are can be recreated, and will be created in a scenario where time in infinite, then the universe will enjoy our misery for all eternity. All this for the few moment of joy in our lives that we know will end inevitably.

There can be more to this than simply "the universe hates you", but whatever. We can never be sure about things like that.

Maybe the universe wants you to fight negative affirmations, and you just misinterpreted the signals? Who can really interpret what the universe is telling us perfectly

Maybe it could be:

• Stop smoking weed.
• Stop smoking weed in the house.
• Smoke weed outside instead.

Doubt the universe is telling you to off yourself.
