I think I'm finally ready. I had a fourth surgery (4 in 20 months). I've picked a date in June so I can be here for a family member's graduation, a friend's wedding and mother's day (I don't want to ruin those days for the people I love).

Weed a starter (a high THC indica to relax me and take the edge of any anxiety + I like it), prescription Hydrocodone (29, from a cancer surgery), coupled with prescription Seroquel (30, for sleep of all things), and a few prescription Ativan (my psych won't write me a scrip for klonopin anymore). watch some stand-up and HOPEFULLY fade away.

The goal is to suppress my respiratory system enough to stop my breathing. I have 180 Seroquel but I don't think it will be necessary to take all of them.

Does anyone think this cocktail is a bust?

Thank you.

Depends on your opioid tolerance. It would be best if you haven't used any in about 10 weeks. It takes awhile for tolerance to reset.

Make sure your opioids aren't past there expiration. Opioids degrade over time.

Ultimately the more the merrier but so long as tolerance isn't there and your pills are potent, it very well may work and sounds like a lovely way to go.

good news is I do not have a tolerance for opioids at all (Benadryl makes me sleepy). Addiction has taken some family members and I have refused at every turn to take opioids. It's why I have a full prescription bottle. I would have more than the 29 I have but I never pick up the prescriptions out of fear of being genetically predisposition to addiction. I tell my surgeons this immediately following every surgery and get the same lecture every time, "I understand your concern but you are not an addict. This is a prescription and an appropriate use of this drug". I have a high tolerance for pain so after every surgery I use the hospital's high dose scrip of tylenol/ advil (more than what they tell you to take on the otc bottle because it's short term use. My only regret is not filing the other scrips but I was smart enough to squirrel away the one I did fill for this reason. Ten weeks? I've taken maybe 5 in as many years. There's a misnomer most cancer patients are on chemo, weak, dying painful deaths. In my case, two organs (that I can live without) have been removed and two cancerous tumors (albeit two different types in separate locations) have been removed. I'm not cbt because I'm sick. I'm doing it because I'm done.

Thank you for your response, Knowledgeseeking. I do appreciate it.
