I think I’m finally happy?

As the title says, or at least somewhat content with my life! My post history kinda explains everything, but I FINALLY escaped a 4 year long abusive relationship and moved across the country to go back to school. It was really difficult but I made it alive. This semester hasn't been easy for me. My cat was diagnosed with metastatic cancer and I had to say goodbye to him in November. I have to retake one class in Fall since passing is an 80 ): And there are some people in my program who think this is still high school and bring the drama with it. But overall, I've made some great friends that I wouldn't trade the world for. I ended up rekindling an old flame as well awhile back and he's due to be my husband later this month! I've grown so much this year and would never have seen this if I gave up. There is still hope for you. I have felt the depths of hell and I crawled my way back by my nails; if you ever feel like you need to talk to someone, feel free to reach out. Happy New Year! I hope comfort can be found in someone as isolated as me can develop such a loving network.
